Design Objective: Each year Printing Industries of the Gulf Coast presents awards for excellence in printing. The theme for the 2012 Graphic Excellence Awards was “Masterpieces.” The Z-fold invitation slips into an ornate frame sleeve that is foil stamped and die-cut.

Design Objective: Dwayne Briscoe needed a banner to highlight the services he provides to his clients. This colorful, portable, retractable banner is an eye-catching way for him to attract new clients when he attends trade shows or teaches classes.

The theme for the 2012 Graphic Excellence Awards is “Masterpieces.” I used an aged damask background and (re-colored) framed letters from old illuminated alphabets to represent this year’s theme.
